With 236 faculty and staff memers, 1499 undergraduate students, 1085 postgraduate students, 635 international students and 21,000 alumni living worldwide, the School of Petroleum Engineering claims one of the largest and strongest petroleum engineering schools in the nation. The school consists of three academic departments offering 3 undergraduate majors, 7 master programs and 3 PhD programs. The petroleum engineering research is funded by over ¥160 million annual.
