The 6th China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition was held in Beijing on May 21-22. The teams of our school won 4 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 9 third prizes. Their supervisors are: Zhaomin Li, Baojiang Sun, Zhichuan Guan, Mingzhong Li, Qihong Feng, Yuanfang Chen, Ruizhong Jiang, Chuanzhi Cui, Jianmin Chen, Dechun Chen, Yuhuan Bu, Zhang Kai.
    The competition is organized by China Ministry of Education, China National Committee of World Petroleum Congress, China Petroleum Association, and China Petroleum Education Association. It is also sponsored financially by many petroleum companies. The event aims to train innovative talents and excellent engineers with team work spirit. 2879 teams from 52 universities and research institutes are invited to participate in the competition.1010 designs in total are submitted for evaluation.
