Recently, the Chinese Petrochemical Innovative Technology Conference was held in Beijing to award the prizes for individuals and research centers who have made great achievements in scientific researches. 10 achievements made by our university were among the awarding lists, including 2 first prizes of scientifical achievement, 1 second prize of technological innovation, 4 second prizes and 3 third prizes of scientific acheivement. Among these awards, Prof. Zou Deyong and Prof. Qining won the first prizes with the researches on Key Wellbore Techniques for Troublesome Formations in Middle East and Its Commercial Application and Polymer Water in Water and Water in Oil Emulsion Preparation and Application , Prof. Liu Dexin won the second prize with the research on Micro Gel Fracturing Fluid For EOR and Its Application.

The awards are established by China Petroluem and Chemistry Association for promoting petrochemical innovations and good teamwork. The prizes are awarded annually.
