The 2015 low PERM conference was held in Paris on June 9,2015. Our Teachers and Students, Sun Zhixue, Li Yaguang, Zhang Jianguan and Sangxi, participated in this conference. They delivered several presentations at the meeting, which are From Characteriztion to Multiscale Discrete Fracture Model of Tight Gas Reservoir: Integrating Cores. Determination of Shale Gas Dissolved in Kerogen, Pore Scale Simulation in Shale Using Lattice Boltzmann Method and A modified Pressure-pulse Decay Approach for Determining Permeability of Unconventional Cores. Their lastest study on physical experiments and geological modeling and simulation for tight gas and shale reservoirs attracts attention from the participants.
The conference was hosted by IFP (Institut Francais Du Petrole), which is an important meeting covering the areas of oil and gas production and environmental protection. It provides an exchange platform for worldwide experts and scholars of energy field.
