On May 26, 2015, six professors from USA and Holland attended a workshop to exchange their lasted achievement in the field of shale gas development. They are Prof. Wu Yushu, Prof.Yin Xiaolong, Prof Mayank, Prof. Erdal, Prof. Tissa and Prof. Majid. The workshop was hosted by Zhang Kai. Sun Baojiang delivered a welcome speech, he introduced briefly about our teaching and research facilities, and stressed especially on our latest research achievements on shale gas transport in micro/nano porous media, pore scale simulation based on digit core technology, CO2 sequestration and improved gas recovery, and shale gas adsorption and desorption mechanism, etc.
Following the speech of the dean, each expat professor presented his work and exchanged his idea concerning shale gas development. After the workshop, the guests visited our labs.
