Prof. Su Yuliang and Sheng Guanglong, a graduate student of our school, attended the 19th Middle East Oil &Gas Show and Conference held in Barlin on March 9 -11. Sheng Guanglong dilivered a presentation of Flow Behavior Analysis and Application of Complex-flow Model in Explosive Fracturing Well Using Fractal Theory, in which our major research achievements and progress in this field were introduced. The presentation was deeply impressed by the attendants.
This is the first oil and gas show and conference held in Gulf area with focus on Middle East markets. The total of 36 papers are received concerning economic development of unconventional oil and gas resources, rock mechanics, fracturing simulation, EOR, etc. Experts from Schlumberger, IFP, Qatar Peterleum Company, Stanford University, Delft University of Technology,Norway University of Science and Technology, Texas A&M University, and Imperial College, etc attended this conference.
