Prof. Qiu Zhengsong and his PhD student attended the Fourth International Conference on Multifunctional Hybrid and Nanomaterials held at Barcelona of Span on Mar. 9-13. The conference centers on the theme of nanomaterials, biomaterials and multifunctional porous media, which drew over 1000 attendants from about 50 countries, including prestigeous professor from Harvard University of USA, Kyoto University of Japan, etc. Liu Junyi, PhD student of Prof. Qiu delivered a presentation entitled Preparation and Characerization of Nanoscale Lates Particles as Potential Physical Gas-Shale Stabilizer in Water-based Drilling Fluids. The attendants held an in-depth discussion concerning theory and application of fundamental materials of energy and environment field.
