The 14th Middle East Artificial Lift Conference and Exhibition was held on Nov. 25-27, 2014 in Manama, the capital of Bahrain. Yanlong Li and Han Jiang, the postgraduates of our school majoring in production engineering attended this conference and delivered the presentations entitled An Integrated Coordination Chart An Integrated Coordination Chart Considering Sand and Water Production and Its Application in Lifting Performance Analysis of Gas Wells and Experimental Study on Sand-Carrying Mechanism and Capacity Evaluation in Water-Producing Gas Wells and its Application in Artificial Lift Optimization. They also introduced their lastest research advancement at the conference.
The conference focuses on the theme is on Intelligent Production...What is the next?. 300 experts and scholars in this field from 21 countries attended this conference. The conference also attracted some famous universities and oil companies, such as Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, GE, Norway Technology University, Hariot-Watt University, etc.
