A delegation led by the vice president of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Dr. Abd Rashid bin Abd Aziz, recently paid a visit to the School of Petroleum Engineering, China University of Petroleum. Baojiang Sun, the Dean, and Kai Zhang, the vice Dean, met and held talks with the guests. Some professor representatives also joined the talk.
At the meeting, Baojiang Sun briefly introduced the school history, its subject disciplines, faculty, and research advantages, and said that the school is always attaching great importance to the internaitonal academic exchanges. Following the Sun��s introduction, the Dr. Abd Rashid bin Abd Aziz, deeply impressed by the research facilities and strength of our school, gave a presentation about his university in terms of teaching and researching aspects. Basing on much similarity between two universities in terms of research fields and subject disciplines, both parties expressed great desire to establish long standing ties in scholar exchange program, joint undergraduate and postgraduate articulation program, and joint research program, The MOU covering this will be prepared and signed soon by the presidents of two universities.
