Annual conference of society of core analyst was held in Avignon of France on Sept. 6, 2014. Prof. Aifen Li with other teachers and students, attended the conference and demonstrated their lastest academic findings at the meeting.
In the conference, the attendants exchanged ideas on core preparation, core physical property testing, test result interpretation, tight oil and gas reservoir development, shale gas development, core displacement mechanism, simulation of flow through porous media, and digital core analysis. About 300 experts attended the meeeting, inclding Roland Lenormand,Jos Maas,John Shafer,Marc Fleur and Douglas Ruth, and Ole Torsaeter all Darcy Prize winners. The 2015 conferene is scheduled to hold in Abu Dhabi of UAE.
This is the third time for teachers from our school to attend SCA annual conference, which help our teachers keep track of the lateset development in digital core technology, promote internaitonal cooperation and enhance our school��s popularity.
