On Sept. 10 thr. 17, 2017, the second forum of New Generation Across the Universe was held in Gubkin Oil and Gas State University of Russia. Our SPE student chapter was invited to attend this forum, in the meantime, our SPE member attended the forth Golden Brick Youth Oil and Gas forum held at the same time.

The event was initiated by Gubkin Oil and Gas University, which invited 20 universities from 18 countries including China, Germany, Italy, Poland, etc. The event has three parts, which are introduction to Russia culture, sharing the frontier oil and gas technology, and dicussion on future industry trend and innovation.

The members of our SPE chapter visited labs of drilling, reservoir engineering, oil and gas development, and HSE in Gubkin Oil and Gas University, and met with vice presidents of GE and Schlumberger.
