The first preliminary meeting of the second Petro-gathering was held on April 20. Sun Baojiang, the dean, Wu Kehua, director of International Affairs Department, Zhang Zhiying, vice dean of College of International Education, Wang Lin, vice party secretary, and other professors participated in the meeting.
    Li Jingjiao, the chairman of SPE student chapter, gave a detailed introduction about the summary of the first Petro-gathering, the preparation work done so far for the second Petro-gathering, and the problems needed to be solved. The meeting announced the formation of consultant committee, student consultant group, and competition committee for the second Petro-gathering. At the meeting the members of the committee gave their suggestions about the fund preparation, agenda, contents of questions for competition, and name of website, etc.
    The second Petro-gathering is due to open on July 15-18, 2016. Students from Australia, Malaysia, and China will gather in Qingdao for academic and cutural exchange.
