On March 22-25 of 2016, SPE Offshore Technology Conference Asia was held in Kuala Lumper, the capital of Malasia, and the Third SPE Petrobowl was held at the same time. 22 teams from different countries, including China, Australia, Indonisia, Philippine, Vietnam,etc. participated in the contest. Zhang Wei, Osama Ajaz, Wang Kun, Gao Qi and Jingjiao Li form a team to represent the China University of Petroleum (East China). Althorough our team was defeated by the team of Curtin University of Australia, their performance won high praise from the jury. The first place was finally won by Bandung Institute of Technology of Indonisia.
    CUPE SPE Student Chapter is alway acitve in participating in various events hosted by international organizations and places great importance on academic and cultural exchanges among different countries. The second Petrogathering forum is going to open in our university  this July.
