The 16th China International Petrochemical Technology Exhibition, one of the biggest global petroleum exhibition, was held in Beijing on March 29, 2016. To familiarize our students with the current petroluem technology and equipment, the school of petroleum engineering sent four students from our SPE chapter to participate in this exhibition.
    At the exhibition, the students asked many questions to the exhibitors about their equipment and technology. They also joined in the promotion activity of various companies. Petrolink, one of our school’s innovation program was also displayed at the exhibition.
    The exhibition attracted about 2000 companies from 65 countries to participate. The areas cover petrochemistry, shale gas, offshore engineering, natural gas, pipeline and transportation equipment, explosion proof instruments.
