About the speaker：

Hendrik (Henk) Rebel was born and raised in The Netherlands. During his 31+ years career he held some 14 different positions in E&P geology, geophysics and management in 8 different countries, of which a total of 9 year woking in China. In May 2016, he joined his new company AE&E Technologies Inc., based in Changping district of Beijing, as their VP Geosciences and senior executive for international marketing. Staff development, discipline integration & work efficiency and application of new technologies remain his key personal drivers. Before becoming the EAGE honoured lecturer for the Student Lecture Tour in China 2017, Henk was an AAPG Lecturer in 1994-96 at selected Chinese universities. He has good professional relationships with the Chinese O&G industry. He has been an active member of the EAGE since 1992.
