KADET VALERIY,Professor,Doctor of Sciences, Fellow of Russian Academy of Nature & Science,EAGE member,Head of the Department of Petroleum and Underground Hydrodynamics in Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas,Supervisor of Scientific-Educational Center“Hydro & gas dynamics of strata system and Oil&Gas Technologies”. He has engaged in the research of theoretical and experimental investigations for transport in porous media for decades. A new approach to modeling of multiphase flow in porous media was developed and a number of new percolation models was constructed. Dr. Kadet has also developed a generalization of percolation cluster theory for grids with varying conductivity and percolation modeling of electric current in porous media.
