Boyun Guo gained B.S. from Daqing Petroleum University in 1982, M.S. from Motana University in petroleum engineering in 1989, and PhD New Mexico Technology University in 1992. Prof. Guo has long been engeged in horizontal drilling, underbalanced drilling, gas drilling, and well completion. He published 140 papers and 6 books.
