 About the Speaker:
 Dr. Liu Xianhua gained his B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering Machinery from China University of Petroleum. He got his second M.S. in University of New South Wels, majoring in computing mechanics,and PhD in Acoustic and vibrating mechanics. In 2006, he worked as senior researcher in the West Australia University. In 2012, he was with Curtin University as a senior lecturer in petroleum engineering department. He invented gravity well killing method, and won the award of Australian Oil and Gas Invention. He is currently with University of Technology, Petronas, Malaysia, as an associate professor. His main research field is offshore well control technology.
