 About the speaker:
 Dr. Chen got master degree and PhD in the Unversity of Tulsa, majoring in petroleum engineering. He now serves at Louisiana State University as an assistant professor. His research interest is heat transfer in wellbore during mud loss and wellbore stability. He was nominated for 2012 World Oil Award due to his downhole tracing technology. His current researches are innovative wellbore temperature control, multiphase flow in annulus, early detection of blowout, fracture simulation in drilling and stimulation, etc.
