  Introduction of the speaker: Guoyin Zhang, a member of SPE, is the responsible person of ASP flooding group at Petroleum Recovery Research Center, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Professor Zhang has been working on improving oil recovery methods for 20 years, his areas of expertise include development of surfactant for oil displacement, CO2 flooding and sewage treatment in oilfield. He received his BS degree from China University of Petroleum (East China) in July 1996, and received his MS and PhD degrees in Petroleum Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. At present he is committed to researching on The development of surfactant for ASP flooding of India Mangala oilfield and The treatment of produced sewage in oilfield by using nano hollow fiber membrane filtration technology. He has published over 30 technical papers, 6 invention patents, and received numerous technical awards.
