Biography:
Bo Ren is an Associate Research Scientist at the Geological Survey of the University of Texas at Austin, USA, and the Technical Director of Enhanced Energy Recovery (EER). He got his M.S. degree from China University of Petroleum (East China) in 2012 and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 (under the supervision of Dr. Larry Lake, member of the American Academy of Engineering). He is an associate editor of SPE Reservoir Evaluation and Engineering and Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, and committee member of SPE-ATCE and URTeCs. His research interests include gas drive, CO2 storage, and low carbon energy. He has published more than 40 papers and has received the SPE North America Youth Distinguished Service Award, ConocoPhillips Scholarship, Shell Research Award, etc.
