Biography:
William R. Rossen is the professor of Reservoir Engineering, Department of Geoscience and Engineering, Delf University of Technology. He is the head of Petroleum Engineering Section. He studied Chemical Engineering in Massachusetts Institute of Technology(1972-1976) and Ph.D. in 1982 at University of Minnesota. He worked at the Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering in the University of Texas at Austin (1989-2006). Professor William R. Rossen was awarded for outstanding service as an SPE Associate Editor in 2014 and named Improved Oil Recovery Pioneer, SPE/DOE Symposium on Improved Oil Recovery, Tulsa, OK in 2012. He was named Best Instructor at Delft University of Technology and Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences in 2011. His main research interests are in the area of fractional flow methods for modeling enhanced oil recovery and surfactant-alternating-gas(SAG) foam for EOR.
