On July 11th, the final rounds of the 9th Shandong Province Internet+ University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in the Higher Education Main Track and the Youth Red Dream Building Journey Track have concluded. In the Higher Education Main Track, our university's projects "Pioneer in Carbon Utilization of Oilfield Flue Gas" and "Expert in Safe Diagnosis of Deepwater Oil and Gas Well Casings" won the gold award, while the project "Leader in Enhanced Oil Digital Integrated Development Control" won the silver award.

  "The Pioneer in Carbon Utilization of Oilfield Flue Gas" project was created by our university's graduate students Li Boliang, Xin Yan, Zhang Jingyu, with guidance from teachers Li Binfei, Wang Wendong, Li Zhaomin, and Wang Jing. The team developed an integrated flue gas capture and reinjection device, successfully addressing the industry's challenges of high difficulty and cost in flue gas recovery, fixed gas composition, and low production efficiency. Team members applied for 11 invention patents as first or second authors, published 17 high-level papers, and established a solid technological barrier. The product has been successfully applied in four oilfield blocks, including Shengli Oilfield, showing significant effects in flue gas recovery and heavy oil production enhancement, demonstrating great application potential to support the dual carbon goals of major domestic oil and gas companies and promoting the green transformation of heavy oil development.

  "The Expert in Safe Diagnosis of Deepwater Oil and Gas Well Casings" project was created by our university's graduate students Pei Jihao, Kong Qingwen, Liu Xueqi, with guidance from teachers Wang Zhiyuan, Sun Baojiang, and Zhang Jianbo. The team overcame the three major technical challenges of traditional hydrate prevention and control methods in the development of deepwater gas wells, forming a triple synergy hydrate prevention and control solution based on dual-effect hydrate inhibitors, supporting risk monitoring software, and multi-point injection equipment for chemicals. The team has applied for 15 invention patents and 10 software copyrights, and the related products have been promoted and applied in deepwater oil and gas blocks domestically and internationally, achieving a direct economic benefit of 1.426 billion RMB.

  "The Leader in Enhanced Oil Digital Integrated Development Control" project was created by our university's graduate students Xin Guojing, Wang Xinyan, Dai Qinyang, with guidance from teachers Zhang Liming, Zhang Kai, Zhou Peng, and Yang Qishuo. The team developed a digital oilfield integrated development control platform, aiming to implement cloud-based oilfield optimization development and scientific management through a digital cloud platform, bridging the last mile for oil and gas field development to embrace a digital future. They have applied for 12 invention patents and 4 software copyrights, establishing a solid technological barrier. The research and development modules have been successively tested in fields such as Shengli and Dagang, providing support for increasing oil production.

  The Shandong Province Internet+ University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been held for nine consecutive sessions and has become the largest innovation and entrepreneurship event in the province, with the widest participation, covering the most universities, highest level of participation, and greatest influence. It is an important platform for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities in the province and promoting the comprehensive development of university students. Since the official launch of this session, a total of 501,600 projects from 231 schools in the province have signed up for the competition, with nearly 795,000 participants. Both the number of projects and participants have reached a historical high.
