The College Was Approved as the 2023 Shandong Graduate Research Innovation Practice Project

  Recently, the Education Department of Shandong Province issued a notice announcing the projects for the 2023 Shandong Province Graduate Student Research and Innovation Practice Activities. Our university has been approved for 3 projects under the Graduate Student Academic Innovation Forum, among which the academic innovation forum "Intelligent Digital Oilfield" applied by our college has been successfully approved.

  The Intelligent Digital Oilfield Academic Innovation Forum is scheduled to be held from August 4th to 6th, 2023. It will cover topics such as intelligent drilling theory and technology, intelligent oil recovery theory and technology, intelligent reservoir theory and technology, intelligent monitoring, control and safety technology, as well as cross-disciplinary areas such as permeability, digital core, artificial intelligence, and their applications in intelligent oil and gas fields. The forum is primarily aimed at graduate students from domestic and international universities and research institutes, focusing on the international frontier and hot issues in the development of the first-level disciplines of petroleum and natural gas engineering in the field of resources and environment, as well as cross-disciplinary areas such as applied mathematics, artificial intelligence, and big data analysis, facilitating in-depth and extensive academic exchanges.

  It is reported that a total of 52 projects were approved for the 2023 Shandong Province Graduate Student Research and Innovation Practice Activities, including 14 projects for the Graduate Student Research and Innovation Practice Competition, 21 projects for the Graduate Student Academic Innovation Forum, and 17 projects for the Graduate Summer School. Through organizing academic forums, summer camp, research practice competitions, and other projects, the Shandong Province innovation practice projects provide platforms for graduate students to learn, communicate, and compete, effectively stimulating and guiding their innovative practices. These projects aim to encourage graduate training units to deepen talent cultivation mode reform, promote the sharing of advantageous educational resources in graduate education, and comprehensively enhance the quality of high-level talent cultivation.
