To further strengthen the cooperation between the university and enterprises, the SPE Student Chapter of our university visited Anton Oilfield Services Group Limited, Baker Hughes Company, Schlumberger China, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China University of Geosciences (Beijing), and Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development during December 22nd to 24th in Beijing.

  On the evening of December 22nd, members of our university's SPE Student Chapter attended the December monthly meeting and 2024 New Year's celebration hosted by the SPE Northern International Chapter. During the event, the members engaged in discussions with representatives from companies such as ConocoPhillips China Limited, Saudi Aramco, and other guests present, gaining insights into the industry's latest trends and engaging in in-depth academic discussions.

  At Anton Oilfield Services Group Limited, Baker Hughes Company, and Schlumberger China, members of our university's SPE Student Chapter provided detailed introductions on the current status of team building and learned about the cutting-edge technologies of each company. Both sides engaged in thorough communication on core business operations, talent requirements, internships, and practical experiences.

  At China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, and China University of Geosciences (Beijing), members of our university's SPE Student Chapter exchanged ideas with the respective SPE student chapters of each university, discussing organizational experiences of different types of activities. This mutual learning and sharing of unique approaches deepened the friendship among the sister associations, laying a solid foundation for further collaboration in the future.

  This visit helped students gain a zero-distance understanding of the talent needs and development prospects of different enterprises, strengthened the exchange and cooperation between our university's SPE Student Chapter and various petroleum universities and companies, and also set a foundation for broader student engagement in understanding industry trends and current status beyond the campus gates.
