Speaker's Bio:

  Wang Guofa, researcher and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is an expert in coal mining technology, equipment, and intelligent mines. He currently serves as the Chief Scientist of China Coal Science and Industry Group, Director of the Coal Mine Intelligentization Working Committee, Chairman of the Coal Mine Intelligentization Innovation Alliance, and Director of the Intelligent Mining Professional Committee of the Chinese Automation Society. He is a national model worker and an outstanding engineer. Wang is one of the main pioneers in the development of efficient coal mining technology and equipment systems and a leader in coal mine intelligentization. He has established the theoretical framework, design methods, and technical standards for comprehensive mechanization and intelligent mining systems in coal mines. Wang has led the design and development of a series of first sets of comprehensive mining technology and equipment, and he was the first to propose the scientific concept of coal mine intelligentization and smart mine construction. He has systematically put forward the ideas, development goals, technical paths, and standard systems for the intelligentization and classification of coal mines, and has led the development of four modes of intelligent mining technology and equipment. Wang was the pioneer of the key technologies in the top-level architecture and application systems of 5G+ intelligent coal mine systems, leading the development of intelligent coal mines and making outstanding contributions to the development and technological innovation of China's coal industry. He has received 6 national scientific and technological progress awards and more than 40 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological awards.
