With 219 faculty and staff memers, 1421 undergraduate students, 1219 postgraduate students, 188 international students and 21,000 alumni living worldwide, the School of Petroleum Engineering claims one of the largest and strongest petroleum engineering schools in the nation. The school consists of three academic departments offering 3 undergraduate majors, 6 master programs and 3 PhD programs. The petroleum engineering research is funded by nearly ¥200 million annual.
