The Intelligent Digital Oilfield Open Forum (iDOF) was initiated by experts in intelligent digital oilfield research from China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China University of Petroleum (East China), Southwest Petroleum University, Xi'an Petroleum University, Northeast Petroleum University, Changjiang University, and other petroleum universities, as well as industry leaders in the petroleum system sector. It aims to explore the digitization, intelligence, and wisdom of oil and gas field construction. To further strengthen the connection between the academic and industrial sectors and accelerate the promotion and application of high-tech, the forum implements a system where petroleum universities take turns organizing the annual meeting. So far, nine sessions have been successfully held, laying a solid foundation for the rapid development of China's intelligent oil and gas industry. It is an important conference in China's intelligent oil and gas field with a high reputation.
The International Forum on Advanced Technologies for Intelligent Oil and Gas Fields was organized by the Oil and Gas Intelligent Development Technology Research Center of the School of Petroleum Engineering. It is one of the important conferences in the series of academic activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the university, aiming to promote the cross-integration of oil and gas field development with artificial intelligence and drive the development of theory and technology.
