On May 17th to 18th, with the support of the China University of Petroleum (East China) Student Employment Guidance Center, Office of Cooperation and Development, Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, College of Petroleum Engineering, and other units at the PetroChina Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, the 8th Petroleum Convergence: China International Student Petroleum Forum was successfully organized by the SPE Student Chapter of China University of Petroleum (East China), co-sponsored by the Student Union of the College of Petroleum Engineering, the Graduate Student Union of the College of Petroleum Engineering, and the ASME Student Chapter. The forum, themed Building Petroleum Dreams Together, Advancing Hand in Hand, featured a series of events including the main forum, a Schlumberger Summer Internship Presentation, SPE Student Chapter exchange activities, a meeting with top companies, and the SPE Paper Contest. The forum attracted numerous renowned scholars in the petroleum field, sister universities, well-known enterprises, and young students to participate.
