On November 17th, the 19th Challenge Cup National University Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Competition Uncovering the List special competition ended. After fierce competition, our institute's Efficient Exploitation and Carbon Storage Coordinated Optimization and Control Method for Continental Shale Oil Driven by Wind-Solar Thermoelectric Fusion project won a special prize. The project of Design and Control Method for Carbon Dioxide Fracturing, Energy-Enhancement and Displacement Collaborative Efficient Production of Three-dimensional Well Pattern in Continental Shale Oil and the project of Carbon Capsule Extraction: Rare Earth Element Energized Low-cost CO2 Capture and Utilization Integrated Technology cooperated with the School of Chemical Engineering won two second prizes, creating another excellent performance in the competition.

The College attaches great importance to the practical education value of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions such as Challenge Cup and deeply explores the innovative working mechanism. Since the start of the competition, the College has organized experts inside and outside the school for guidance for many times, organized teachers and students to go to the oilfield site for field investigation, carried out interdisciplinary cooperation with brother colleges, provided a series of guidance guarantee for team construction and research direction, repeatedly discussed and polished works, and provided all-round support for the preparation team.
