Recently, Professor Su Jian, Director of the Department of Nuclear Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was invited to visit our institute. Professor Sun Baojiang and Associate Professor Fu Guangming of our hospital had in-depth talks with them.

Professor Su Jian Visits

  Professor Sun Baojiang introduced in detail the scientific research progress made by our institute in the field of offshore oil and gas engineering and the achievements of international cooperation and exchange. He said that the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is an important cooperative unit of our school's marine oil and gas engineering innovation and intelligence introduction base, and looks forward to further deepening cooperation and exchanges with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

  Professor Su Jian spoke highly of the achievements made by the college in postgraduate training, introduced the basic situation of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in the training of China students, expressed his willingness to further promote the talent training and scientific and technological cooperation and exchange between China and Brazil in the field of marine energy, and welcomed the outstanding master and doctoral students of our school to the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro for exchange and study.

  Up to now, Professor Su Jian has co-directed 4 master students of our college, including 2 international joint training projects for production, learning and research, 1 won excellent graduate degree thesis at school level, and jointly published 8 academic papers, including 3 papers in SCI Zone 1 and 2 papers in Zone 2 in marine field. Wang Xiaozheng, a graduate student of 2021 in our college, is studying for a doctorate degree at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro under the joint guidance of Professor Su Jian and Associate Professor Fu Guangming.

  As a special guest of the lecture hall (No.8), Professor Su Jian made an academic report entitled Dynamic Analysis Method of Marine Pipeline and Riser-Generalized Integral Transformation, sharing the latest research situation of the research group in the direction of structural dynamics, heat and mass transfer of marine pipeline and riser in recent years, so that the teachers and students of our institute have a deeper understanding of the cutting-edge scientific and technological progress in the marine field.

  Professor Su Jian, Director of Nuclear Engineering Department of Engineering Graduate School of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, graduated from Engineering Thermophysics Department of China University of Science and Technology with bachelor degree, graduated from Engineering Thermophysics Institute of China Academy of Sciences with master degree, studied under Academician Wu Zhonghua, and graduated from Mechanical Engineering Department of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with doctor degree. His research interests include heat transfer, fluid mechanics, multiphase flow, fluid-solid coupling and hybrid analytical-numerical algorithms in mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering and offshore oil and gas engineering. He has published more than 300 papers in Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, Applied Thermal Engineering, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, and international conferences.
