From October 12 to 15, the final of China International University Student Innovation Competition (2024) was held in Shanghai Jiaotong University. The Sea Protector team of our institute won the Silver Award of Industrial Proposition Track, and the Blocking and Intelligent Chuangyoulai teams won the Bronze Award of Senior Master Track, and won several national awards for the first time in the same competition.

China International University Student Innovation Competition (2024) is jointly sponsored by 12 departments including Ministry of Education and Shanghai City People's Government, and undertaken by Shanghai Jiaotong University and Minhang District People's Government. With the theme of I dare to break through, I will create, the main events include the high-school track,Youth Red Dream Building Journey track, vocational education track, industrial proposition track and budding track, attracting 5.14 million projects from 5406 schools from 153 countries and regions at home and abroad, 20.836 million students signed up for the competition, among which 1410 excellent projects stood out and entered the finals.

The college attaches great importance to the improvement of students 'innovation and entrepreneurship ability. In the future, the college will continue to focus on the school's 14th Five-Year Plan and double-first-class construction goals. Through China International University Students Innovation Competition,Challenge Cup and other heavyweight double-innovation competitions, the college will improve the three-round education system and mechanism based on morality and cultivation of people. In combination with the talent training system of the new era, it will closely link various work, create high-level national talents with full participation, and cultivate excellent students in the whole process. The all-round multi-level innovation and entrepreneurship training system from practice training to transformation cultivation fully guarantees the development needs of students in innovation practice at each stage, and contributes to the construction of talent training system in the new era of the school.
