   Since the School of Petroleum Engineering issued the Implementation Measures for Strengthening the Process Assessment of the Curriculum (Masonry Teaching [2024] No. 1), the implementation has been completed for one year, in order to comprehensively evaluate the implementation effectiveness, examine and analyze the existing problems, further standardize teaching management, and effectively improve the quality of undergraduate teaching, the college was launched in January On the 26th, various departments and course groups were organized to carry out a special seminar on course assessmentDean Hou Jian, Vice Dean Qi Ning, heads of departments, heads of course groups and teaching secretaries attended the meeting.

       At the meeting, the teaching departments reported on the implementation of the process assessment, mid-term examination and final examination of the current professional courses, and exchanged their experience and practices in the organization and operation of the course assessment. The meeting focused on the process assessment method and its grade ratio, the setting of the minimum score line for the final examination, and the setting of the mid-term examination link.

      Dean Hou Jian put forward two requirements for strengthening the course process assessment: First, each course group should actively carry out the reform of the course assessment mode. Starting from the 2024-2025-2 semester, all compulsory courses and elective courses with final examinations for full-time undergraduate students are required to set the final examination paper bottom line, which will be implemented by the course group leaders. The second is to combine the actual situation of the course to strengthen the process assessment to stimulate students' learning initiative, and at the same time reasonably optimize the assessment content and difficulty, pay attention to improving the teaching effect of the course, and ensure that students effectively achieve the course learning objectives.
