[Our station news] On November 2nd, the 14th Challenge Cup Qin Chuangyuan China College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan Competition came to a close in Xi'an. A total of 280 gold award projects, 554 silver award projects, and 1564 bronze award projects were selected. Our college's Integrating rigidity and flexibility——Multi-functional nano fracturing fluid for fracturing and displacement team won the national gold award. This is the first time our college has won the gold award in the Challenge Cup China College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, and it is the last link in the college's three major national gold award grand slam.

Even amidst storms and surging waves, they still hold grand ambitions, using their pens as oars to paint a grand blueprint, resolutely pursuing the distant land in their hearts.

Everything is difficult at the beginning, there is no end without a beginning. In the early stages of team formation, Professor Zhao Mingwei, the guide teacher, provided valuable advice and support. He emphasized: An excellent team not only needs a solid technical foundation but also clear goals and unwavering beliefs. The team initially formed with members from the research group as the backbone, providing strong technical support for the project with their deep accumulation in the field of petroleum engineering. To make the project comprehensive and competitive in the market, the team also absorbed many talents from interdisciplinary fields. The team actively recruited outstanding students from majors such as Chinese Language and Literature, Law, Accounting, and others. The addition of these new members injected fresh blood into the team, and they played an indispensable role in market research, competitive analysis, administrative management, financial planning, and risk assessment. Although team members came from different majors and had diverse backgrounds, they overcame various difficulties for a common goal, blending together to form a powerful team that is both innovative in technology and competitive in the market.

During the team formation process, team members demonstrated a spirit of selfless dedication and mutual support, facing all kinds of uncertainties in the early stages of the project, no one chose to retreat, but instead chose to fight side by side, facing the challenges together. Whether it was intense discussions in the dead of night or working overtime during holidays, all of these witnessed their persistent pursuit of dreams and selfless dedication to the team. Team leader Ma Zhenfeng said, From the graduate student studio to the conference room and the backup competition area on the second floor of the big activity building, we have counted countless nights we have stayed up together, only remembering that the night before the competition we rehearsed the roadshow repeatedly until late at night. It is this unity and perseverance that allowed the team, after overcoming difficulties, to ultimately form a powerful collective with both strong technological innovation capabilities and high market competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for their outstanding performance in the National Challenge Cup competition.

Determined to move forward, though far, we will definitely reach our destination.

By combining the wisdom of many, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished. Talking about the competition preparation process, Ma Zhenfeng said, For a team to achieve success, it must be inseparable from a variety of professional knowledge and the collaborative cooperation of each member of the team. Team members not only have to face the heavy academic pressure but also need to invest a lot of time and energy in project research and development, market research, and data collection. The team members work closely together, support each other, overcome difficulties, and ultimately achieve excellent results. The entire team always holds together like seeds of a pomegranate, breaking mountains and building bridges over rivers.

In the process of preparing for the competition, the team members gave full play to their professional advantages and constantly overcame technical difficulties through teamwork and technological innovation. Conduct in-depth market research by reviewing a large number of literature and industry reports to ensure the innovation and feasibility of the project. Each team member plays an important role in their respective areas of expertise, focusing on communication and support with each other, and teamwork makes the project both technological and market-competitive. The final excellent results are inseparable from the clear, powerful and practical project ideas. The instructors, Professor Dai Caili and Professor Zhao Mingwei, gave great help to the team in the competition, not only providing professional guidance in technology, but also putting forward many valuable suggestions in teamwork and project management. A good team must not only have technical strength, but also good teamwork and project management skills. Under their guidance, the team members communicate and collaborate with each other, and the teamwork is closer and more efficient. Their efforts are a vivid practice of General Secretary Xi Jinping's call that the rice bowl of energy must be in one's own hands.

Looking back on the ups and downs of the journey with teammates, Ma Zhenfeng couldn't help but feel, At that time, we didn't consider the specific awards too much, but more to hope that through the National Challenge Cup competition platform, we could show the efforts and achievements of the team. After winning, team members said that this competition not only brought honor and achievements, but more importantly, they learned how to stay calm under pressure, how not to give up in the face of difficulties, and how to cooperate and play to their strengths within the team, deeply understanding the power and importance of teamwork.
