Nine teachers from our college were awarded the title of Top Ten Excellent Class Advisors for the 2023-2024 academic year.

[Our website news] Recently, the school announced the results of the Top Ten Excellent Class Advisors selection for the 2023-2024 academic year. After student evaluation, college recommendation, and school review, Jia Han, a teacher from our college, was awarded the title of Top Class Advisor, and Wang Weiyang, Fu Guangming, Liu Yongwang, Liu Chenwei, Liu Shuyang, Li Lei, Yao Chuanjin, and Xu Jianchun were awarded the title of Excellent Class Advisor.

Top Ten Class Advisors of the 2023-2024 academic year: Jia Han, Professor of Petroleum Engineering College, currently serving as the class advisor for the 2207 class of the Petroleum Engineering major. He adheres to the belief that education is not only about imparting knowledge but also about shaping souls and enlightening wisdom. He always puts the growth of students first, caring for them in their lives and guiding them in their studies. He holds the initial intention of moral education and fulfills the mission of comprehensive education. During his tenure as a class advisor, he maintains a close relationship with students, actively approaching and caring for them. Focusing on growth and success, he encourages and supports students when they are tired. He also actively uses class meetings and group lessons to help more students understand the important significance of the Petroleum Engineering major to the national energy industry and the overall national development strategy. Under his leadership and inspiration, ten classes in the major are ranked in the top three, with all three top-ranked students coming from the 2207 class of Stone Engineering. More than 2/3 of the students in the class are in the top 50% of the major ranking, and 100% of the students participate in major innovation projects, with 17 students serving as project leaders and 26 students serving as school or college student cadres. Many students have won titles such as Outstanding Students in Shandong Province, Top 1,000 Outstanding College Students in Qingdao, and Excellent Club Leader. The class has also won various titles such as Excellent Study Atmosphere Class and Advanced Class Collective.

The school's Top Ten Excellent headteacher selection is held once a year, aiming to commend outstanding headteachers, set examples, guide all staff to integrate ideological and political work into the entire process of education and teaching, achieve all-round education, education throughout the process, and all-round education, promote talent cultivation work, and help high-quality development. Our college adheres to and implements the School's Implementation Measures for Headteacher Work of China University of Petroleum (East China) and Implementation Measures for Undergraduate Tutor System of China University of Petroleum (East China) (Trial), and has formulated and issued documents such as Guiding Opinions on Undergraduate Tutor Work of Petroleum Engineering College, Decision on the Appointment of Headteachers in Student Classes, Details of Headteacher Assessment of Petroleum Engineering College, and Proposal on Implementing the Pairing Cultivation of Research Institutes and Undergraduate Classes in Petroleum Engineering College. In work, we focus on building a team of headteachers, adhering to the value pursuit of caring for students, respecting scholars, and valuing academic pursuits, and have equipped each administrative class with headteachers who have good ideological quality, high professional level, and strong dedication spirit. In the 2023-2024 academic year, a total of 9 teachers in our college actively engaged in undergraduate tutor and headteacher work, playing an important role in cultivating students' awareness of scientific research, expanding students' innovative practical abilities, guiding students' academic and career planning, and promoting the comprehensive and healthy development of students.
