On the afternoon of December 8, 2024, the closing ceremony and award presentation of our school's 20th Youth Fitness Festival was held as scheduled at the track and field stadium. The college won the first place in the team total score and was recognized as an outstanding organization unit. Zhou Zhichao, a student, was awarded the Sports Star, and teacher Yang Qishuo was recognized as an outstanding individual with significant contributions.

Youth Fitness Festival is a large-scale comprehensive competition sponsored by the School Sports Committee and undertaken by the School Youth League Committee and Sports Teaching Department. This year is the 20th. The competition items of this Youth Fitness Festival include football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, orienteering, cheerleading, class competition, physique competition and so on, totaling 13 individual competitions. Our college athletes fought hard and never said they would lose. In the 13 individual events of this Youth Fitness Festival, they won 3 championships, 3 runner-up and 1 third place, and made breakthroughs in some events. Tennis team and table tennis team as defending champions, due to the professional adjustment of the previous school year, some of the original main players can only represent the new college in this fitness festival, team five overcome difficulties to strengthen echelon construction, absorb a number of outstanding performance in the selection of junior students, finally all successfully defended the title. This year is the third competition set up in the class competition. The college sent Class 2302 of Benyan Stone to replace Class 2201 of Benyan Stone, which won the championship twice. All the members of the class have maintained the intensity of three practices a week since they were determined to participate in the competition, actively contacted the senior students to learn the championship experience, adjusted the tactics according to the characteristics of the existing lineup, actively invited the college teachers to participate in the competition together according to the competition system, consolidated their strengths, made up for their shortcomings, and fought to the last moment of the competition with the mentality of never giving up. The program won three consecutive championships, and the college continued to win all the championships since the program was established. In the volleyball competition, after winning the third place in the men's and women's volleyball team in the last competition, the volleyball team of this competition united sincerely, encouraged each other, actively carried out exchange and study with the volleyball team of the college teaching staff, and finally advanced to the final and won two runners-up, making a great breakthrough. In other events, men's basketball won runner-up, physique contest won third place, orienteering won fourth place, cheerleading won sixth place, women's football, women's basketball won seventh place.

For a long time, centering on the needs of the national energy strategy and the future development direction of the discipline, the college has designed a series of general knowledge and second classroom courses in the aspects of ideological guidance, behavior cultivation, personality molding and practical exercise with the excellent activities of Bocai Academy·Five Hundred as the education platform. It adheres to the two core concepts of three comprehensive education and five simultaneous education and has made a series of positive attempts in cultivating high-quality talents with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness and beauty and has achieved certain results. In the future, the college will strengthen exploration and continuous investment under the talent training system scheme of the new era to continuously improve the quality of talent training. In addition to the school-level competitions of the fitness festival, our college also hosted the 2024 National Unity Fun Games of the school by relying on the Bocai Academy·Golden Class, and carried out sports courses such as the Bocai Cup basketball match, badminton match, freshman track and field sports meeting, and the 2024 Good Teacher and Friend teacher-student series competition, creating a campus mass sports culture atmosphere of national fitness.
