[Station News] Recently, the university announced the selection results of the Excellent Study Style Class in the 2023-2024 academic year. After going through the processes of self-submission, college recommendation, class report, on-site questioning, and judge scoring, our college's Stone Worker (Intelligent) Class 2101 was awarded the title of Excellent Study Style Model Class, and the Class 2101 of the Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Program (Petroleum) and Class 2201 of Ocean Oil and Gas Engineering, as well as the Class 2302 of the Integrated Undergraduate and Graduate Program (Petroleum), were awarded the title of Excellent Study Style Class.

The Stone Worker (Intelligent) Class 2101 adheres to the core concept of cultivating compound talents in petroleum + artificial intelligence without wavering, based on the four main battlefields, utilizing six methods, and forming a 1+4+6 style construction system. The class has successively won titles such as Red Flag Youth League Branch and Excellent Class Collective. The rate of Communist Youth League members is 100%, and the rate of Party members exceeds 50%. There are currently 15 Communist Party members (including probationary members). The current pass rate of the class is 100%, with more than 90% excellent, 100% scholarship rate, and 67.9% recommendation rate. All class members participate in the Three-Step Plan for the Great Innovation Project, actively participate in academic competitions, have published a total of 8 SCI papers, obtained 12 authorized invention patents, won more than 30 national and provincial-level awards in academic competitions, and 2 people won the second prize in the 14th China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition. All class members participate in social practice, and members as team leaders have been awarded the title of Public Welfare Star Team, owning 2 five-star practice teams and 1 four-star practice team, achieving new results in the style construction work.

The selection of Excellent Study Atmosphere Model Class and Excellent Student Class is organized by the School's Academic Affairs Office and held once a year. The college always regards the construction of study atmosphere as a key task that must be constantly pursued. By regularly organizing study atmosphere work seminars, outstanding student lectures, group evening studies and other activities, it strengthens the construction of study atmosphere and creates a virtuous and positive educational environment and an academic atmosphere of seeking truth and being practical.
