On May 29, more than 20 people from Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Branch and Sinopec Shengli Petroleum Engineering Company came to the hospital for technical exchanges. This exchange focused on key technologies in the field of drilling and oil testing, aiming to jointly overcome technical problems in the industry through in-depth cooperation and exchanges. More than 10 teachers, including Professor Huang Wei'an, Vice Dean, Professor Pang Xueyu, Director of the Institute of Oil and Gas Well Engineering, and Professor Zhao Mingwei, Director of the Institute of Oil and Gas Field Chemistry, attended the meeting, and Huang Wei'an presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, the two sides first introduced the participants, and then Professor Pang Xueyu, Professor Zhao Mingwei, Professor Shi Yucai and others respectively reported on 10 cutting-edge technologies such as complex formation drilling, cementing technology, fracturing fluid performance optimization, and ultra-deep water-based drilling fluid system . The content of the report is closely related to the actual needs of the oilfield site, covering a number of key areas. After the report, the participants had a heated discussion on the practical application, technical difficulties and future research directions of various technologies, and also provided new ideas and methods for solving practical problems in the process of drilling and oil testing.
Zhou Hanguo, chief expert of Shengli Oilfield Branch, said that for a long time, Shengli Oilfield and the college have maintained close cooperative relations in scientific research projects and talent training, and have achieved a series of fruitful results. In the future, it is hoped that the two sides will further strengthen communication and cooperation, deepen the integration of production, education and research, and jointly overcome the technical problems of the industry.
