The Youth League Committee of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering was awarded the honorary title of Red Flag Youth League Committee; The Student Union of the School of Petroleum Engineering was awarded the honorary title of Outstanding Student Union; Masonry (Excellence) 22 07 Regiment Branch was awarded the honorary title of Red Flag Regiment Branch; Masonry (Excellence) 2207 League Secretary Tan Ziling was awarded the Top Ten League Secretary; Wang Xiaolong, a 202 level 4 master's student in petroleum and natural gas engineering, was awarded the honorary title of Star of Science and Technology; Shao Lulin, a 202 Level 3 undergraduate student majoring in petroleum engineering, was awarded the honorary title of Star of Simei; Wang Xiaopu, a teacher of the college, was awarded the honorary title of Excellent Community Instructor; Li Yating and Chen Xinyu, 202 Level 3 undergraduates majoring in petroleum engineering, were awarded the honorary title of Outstanding Club Leader.

In 2024, the Youth League Committee of the School of Petroleum Engineering focused on its main responsibilities and main business, combined the two tasks, focused on the improvement of the three forces and the contribution to the overall situation, and strived to complete the four answer sheets of leading and uniting youth, serving and empowering youth, organizing and mobilizing youth, and forging youth to serve the country, so as to contribute to the cultivation of young talents in the new era of energy serving the country and building a strong country. With the three learnings model of League cadres leading learning, Youth League branch joint learning, and youth group learning together, we have solidly promoted the theme education of League members and youth, strengthened the guidance of energy characteristics and outstanding value, and held 13 brand activities in the League meeting room, benefiting more than 2,600 youth league members. 3 Red Flag League branches, 15 dynamic League branches, 5 branches won excellent theme League Day activities, 3 functional League branches and 2 temporary League branches were established, and the organizational system was improved. It has created 16 golden courses in the second classroom, undertaken 3 sessions of night schools and 1 session of youth talks, and carried out 10 types of education activities in 3 projects of Guiding Ideology and Politics. In 2024, he will win 149 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level, including 2 golds, 4 silvers and 5 bronzes in the three national competitions, the first prize of the China Petroleum Engineering Design Competition, and the second prize of the 7th National College Student Art Exhibition. A practical education model guided by serving the country with energy and building a strong country with energy has been formed, and more than 2,100 people from 403 teams have gone to 28 provinces to carry out social practice. We continued to create walking ideological and political courses, set up 12 doctoral groups of Energy Serving the Country, Energy Power, and 178 students went to the northwest, southwest, northeast and other national oil and gas strategic key regions, Shandong Province and other rural revitalization and Yellow River strategic key provinces, Russia, Vietnam and other countries along the Belt and Road.
