【Our Station News】On September 1st, the Director of the Natural Gas Research Institute of the Yanchang Petroleum Group, Lin Jin, and a team of 8 came to the institute for a technical exchange. President Hou Jian, Party Secretary Wang Zhiyuan, Deputy Director General of the China-Saudi Arabia Oil Energy Belt and Road Joint Laboratory Yang Yongfei, Vice Presidents Jia Han, Zhang Liming, Guo Tiankui, and Pang Xueyu, among others, attended the meeting, with Guo Tiankui presiding over it.

Hou Jian welcomed Lin Jin and his team, expressing that the new college leadership visited Chang'an Petroleum at the end of July. The exchange at the beginning of the new semester marks a good start for deepening cooperation between the school and the company, transforming from a single project cooperation to an integrated unit cooperation. Thank you to Chang'an Petroleum for including the school as a major special project cooperation unit. We hope to take this opportunity to further implement a strong cooperation and exchange platform. Through organized, in-depth scientific and technological cooperation, and the construction of a planned, high-level talent training mechanism, both parties will work together to achieve win-win cooperation.

Wang Zhiyuan praised Yanchang Petroleum for its important role in national energy construction. He said that Yanchang Petroleum Group Natural Gas Research Institute is the source of scientific and technological innovation, but also the engine. The two sides have great potential for cooperation. In the later stage, they will jointly carry out organized scientific research, cooperate in an integrated form of packaging, jointly plan and undertake large projects, promote great achievements, establish a talent training mechanism, and make contributions to the cultivation of high-level talents in the energy field through school-enterprise cooperation. We look forward to extending and achieving better development.

Lin Jin said that through early exchanges, he had a deep understanding of the discipline construction, scientific research, talent training and other aspects of the college. During this visit, I hope that both sides will work hand in hand in oil and gas and further carry out in-depth cooperation. He introduced the development history of oil and gas in Ordos Basin, and put forward the problems ofunclear mechanism, low output, low recovery factor and high cost faced by Yanchang Petroleum in the cooperative development of deep coalbed methane, tight gas and multiple gas reservoirs at present. He hoped that schools and enterprises would jointly carry out technical breakthrough to realize cost reduction and efficiency increase. Extension can provide a good platform for talent cultivation in schools, and we look forward to practical cooperation and common development between both parties.

Xin Cuiping and Zhang Jianfeng of Yanchang Petroleum introduced the Project of Yan 'an Gas Field Tight Sandstone Gas Enhanced Recovery Technology and Integration Demonstration and Yan' an Gas Field Exploration and Development Progress and Technical Requirements respectively. Yang Yongfei introducedthe construction of platforms such as China-Saudi Arabia Petroleum Energy Belt and Road Joint Laboratory. Experts and teachers at the meeting discussed the next technical cooperation.
