On June 22, the 2025 degree conferring ceremony of the Institute of Petroleum Engineering was solemnly held in the hall of Block B of the Engineering Building. Professor Sun Baojiang, Professor Chen Dechun and Professor Huang Weian, members of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of the College, Chen Yinton, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, counselor teachers and 2025 graduates witnessed this important moment together. The ceremony was presided over by Chen Yinton.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Chen Yinton, on behalf of the College, extended warm congratulations to 49 doctors, 247 masters and 295 bachelor's degrees for successfully completing their studies and obtaining degrees, and expressed heartfelt thanks to the hard-working teachers. He said that over the years, students gathered at Shida with dreams, wrote growth questionnaires with hard work in the process of double-first-class construction of the school, in the innovation wave established by Bocai Academy, and in practical activities such as Energy for the Country·Energy Powerful Country doctoral group. The overall graduation destination implementation rate of the 2025 graduates of the College ranked first in the whole school, and a number of outstanding collectives and individuals emerged, such as the shortlisted award of Person of the Year for College Students, Wang Tao Scholarship for Talents, and the National Gold Award of Internet + Competition, demonstrating the outstanding strength of the students of the College.

In the melodious music,Professor Sun Baojiang, Professor Chen Dechun and Professor Huang Weian patiently, earnestly and enthusiastically awarded degree certificates, ears, group photos and sincere blessings to each graduate. The graduation class counselors also arranged clothes and hats for each student who was about to go on stage. The scene was full of warmth and applause. Student representatives present flowers to teachers, but also push the gratitude between teachers and students to a climax.

At the end of the ceremony, Chen Yinton sent a message to graduates: We should keep in mind the school motto of truth only and the motto of deep drilling and extensive mining, thick accumulation and thin development, practice cheer for China, let life shine, inherit oil spirit and stone spirit, and bravely undertake the mission of home and country.
