On September 18, Guo Shusheng, deputy manager of the exploration department of CNOOC Hainan Branch, and his party of 4 people came to the hospital for technical exchanges. Vice Deans Zhang Liming and Guo Tiankui, and teacher representatives of the Institute of Intelligent Oil and Gas Fields attended the meeting, and Guo Tiankui presided over the meeting.

On behalf of the college, Guo Tiankui welcomed the arrival of the exchange delegation of CNOOC Hainan Branch and CNOOC Experimental Center (Hainan). He pointed out that CNOOC, as the core force of our country's offshore oil and gas development, has accumulated rich practical experience in the fields of oil and gas exploration and development, engineering technology innovation and other fields, and this exchange meeting focuses on the deep integration of intelligent technology and oil and gas engineering, which is not only an important opportunity for both sides to share technical achievements and solve industry problems, but also lays the foundation for the subsequent upgrading from a single technical cooperation to the integration of industry, university, research and application.

Guo Shusheng said that he hopes to obtain technical solutions and innovative ideas in the application technology of artificial intelligence in the oilfield, data visualization and intelligent analysis application practice through in-depth exchanges with school experts, and looks forward to establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism with the college to carry out in-depth cooperation in technical research and joint training of talents.

At the meeting, Zhang Liming, Xu Yuqiang, Yan Xia and Wu Jiafeng reported on four cutting-edge areas, including the application of large model technology in the field of oil and gas lifting, intelligent analysis and application of drilling engineering data, the application and progress of artificial intelligence in oilfield development, and the real-time processing of data while drilling and visualization technology research.
