From November 26th to 28th, the 6th International Deepwater Oil and Gas Engineering Frontier Technology Symposium and the 5th International Hydrate Youth Forum were successfully held in Zhuhai. With the theme of Intelligent Creation of Oil and Gas, Navigating Deepwater, Green Future, the conference aims to build a high-level, international academic exchange and industrial cooperation platform in the field of deepwater oil and gas and hydrates. 432 representatives from more than 100 universities, research institutes, enterprises and institutions from 8 countries including China, the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Norway, Brazil, Singapore and Bangladesh attended the meeting.

The conference received 285 submissions, focusing on key directions such as deepwater drilling and production technology, offshore oil and gas drilling and production equipment, flow security, CCUS technology, safe and efficient development of hydrates, basic physical properties and utilization of hydrates, hydrate accumulation and characterization, etc., 7 sub-venues and 143 special reports were set up.
