Recently, the 5th International Conference on Engineering Education and Human Culture: Humanistic Challenges and Technical Solutions in the Era of Artificial Intelligence was successfully held at Tyumen University of Technology in Russia. Jia Han, Vice Dean of the College, was invited to attend the conference and gave a keynote report entitled Creating Professional Knowledge Graphs in Petroleum Engineering with the Help of Artificial Intelligence.

The conference, hosted by Tyumen University of Technology, coincides with the fifth anniversary of the conference's founding and has reached new heights in scale and influence. The conference took artificial intelligence as the core topic and delved into the cutting-edge issues of the integration of AI and engineering education. According to reports, the conference received a total of 465 paper submissions, attracting experts and scholars from 18 countries, 50 universities and 24 cities including the United Kingdom, Germany, China, France, Vietnam, Indonesia and other CIS countries.

During the meeting, experts and scholars discussed the application of artificial intelligence in engineering education and the innovation of talent training models. In the report, Jia Han elaborated on the exploration and practice of our school in the integration and development of petroleum engineering and artificial intelligence technology, focusing on the innovative path of empowering the teaching of petroleum engineering through knowledge graph, and showing the school's cutting-edge achievements in the field of artificial intelligence + higher education. The report aroused widespread attention and positive responses from international counterparts attending the meeting, and broadened new channels for deepening academic exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia in the field of engineering education.
