To steadily advance the digital reform of education and steadily improve the quality of curriculum and textbook development,the college held a meeting on the morning of June 18to promote textbook development. Associate Dean Jia Han, Editors from Petroleum University Press, and those responsible for compiling core course textbooks attended the meeting.

At the meeting, editor Yue Weichao from the publishing house conducted a special training session on digital textbook development. The training focused on key content in digital textbook construction, mainly covering three aspects: reflection and plan design in textbook writing, selection of digital textbook writing modes, basic graphic and text content and digital resources, and writing standards and submission requirements for interactive content. The training content closely aligns with the actual teaching of the major, clearly defining the overall approach, construction standards, and workflows of digital textbook compilation, providing professional guidance for the college to advance digital textbook development with high quality.

After the training, participating teachers exchanged questions and exchanged views on content optimization, resource integration, interaction design, and difficulties encountered during the writing process, based on the current progress of textbook writing. Participants conducted thorough discussions, and the publisher's editors answered questions one by one on site, effectively solving practical issues in textbook compilation, and further clarifying the direction for future work.

Jia Han delivered the concluding speech. He emphasized that the construction of digital textbooks is an important measure to promote classroom teaching reform and improve the quality of talent cultivation. Each writing team must strictly benchmark against construction standards, rigorously control the quality of textbook content, highlight professional characteristics, and complete compilation tasks on time and with quality. He stated that the college will fully support the construction of digital textbooks, providing strong guarantees in special funding, resource guarantees, and overall coordination, and fully promoting the high-quality construction of digital textbooks.
