On July9, Xue Xinfang, Executive Deputy General Manager of the Integrated and New Energy Division of CNOOC, along with fourothers, visited the hospital for technical exchanges and school-enterprise cooperation negotiations. Wang Zhiyuan, Party Secretary of the college, Vice Deans Pang Xueyu and Zhang Liming, along with faculty representatives from various research institutes, attended the symposium, which Pang Xueyu presided over.

First, both sides introduced the participants. Wang Zhiyuan warmly welcomed Xue Xinfang and his delegation and thanked CNOOC Service for its long-term support of the college's discipline development, talent cultivation, and research work.

Hua Zejun, Manager of the Business Development Planning Department of the Business Unit, introduced the overall business development layout, main business entities, and engineering technology direction, while Xie Zhilei, Manager of the Materials and Equipment Department, gave a detailed introduction to the core equipment of the division. Pang Xueyu systematically introduced the basic situation of the college from the perspectives of its historical development, disciplinary features, research platforms, faculty team development, and representative research achievements. During the exchange session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on integrated service technologies, integrated applications of new energy, tackling bottleneck challenges, and joint talent cultivation.

Xue Xinfang stated that he hopes both sides will achieve further breakthroughs in scientific research innovation around key areas such as accelerating drilling and improving efficiency, wellbore control, wellbore integrity, and workover technology, establish a regular exchange mechanism, jointly tackle key core technologies in the oil and gas field, promote precise alignment between on-site demand and university research, and ensure effective implementation, jointly producing high-level results.

In his concluding speech, Wang Zhiyuan pointed out that he hopes the division will maintain close communication with the college, take this exchange as an opportunity to focus on the key technical needs of enterprises, actively organize key faculty to visit frontline enterprises, identify entry points for cooperation, deepen and solidify school-enterprise cooperation, accelerate achievement output and shared achievements, and jointly build a higher level of industry competitiveness.
