Recently, to ensure the orderlyprogress of experimental teaching work for the new semester, Dean Hou Jian and Vice President Jia Han led a team to conducta comprehensive special inspection of the teaching laboratory, with all teachers at the experimental center participating in the inspection.

Hold a special inspection meeting for the laboratory

College leaderswent deep into the front lines, visiting specialized teaching laboratories such as drilling simulation laboratories, directional well laboratories, cementing laboratories, rock mechanics laboratories, wellbore multiphase flow laboratories, permeability surfacemeasurement and offshore structure laboratories, saturation and carbonate determination laboratories, natural gas hydrate laboratories, offshore oil and gas engineering simulation laboratories, and pumping well production simulation laboratories. On-site inspections of each laboratory's site environment, equipment operation, safety protection, and daily management, detailed reports from the center faculty on new semester experimental teaching arrangements, equipment operation and maintenance,laboratory construction,and laboratory openness and sharing, meticulously inspecting key aspects such as equipment operation, electrical safety, and site layout, fully grasping the overall laboratory operation and preparation status.

 Conduct special laboratory inspections

Hou Jian affirmed the construction and preliminary preparation of the college's laboratory, and put forward clear requirements for the subsequent high-quality construction and operation and maintenance work. He emphasized that laboratories are the core platforms for practical teaching and talent cultivation. First, strict control over equipment construction quality must be ensured, continuously ensuring the technological advancement of newly purchased and updated equipment, aligning with industry development and teaching and training needs; Second, it is necessary to balance the coverage of equipment teaching, optimize equipment configuration and training arrangements, and enable more students to participate in hands-on training and benefit from high-quality experimental teaching resources. At the same time, based on the college's long-term development, we should plan in advance for laboratory layout adjustments and upgrades, refine construction plans, promote the construction of teaching laboratories to high standards and quality, continuously improve the level of practical teaching and education, and lay a solid foundation for the smooth and orderly progress of teaching work in the new semester.
